Summer Tutoring Program Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the ResourceAbilities Summer Tutoring Program. We are looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the summer! Before submitting your application it is important to review the following notes:

Locations
Due to the large volume of students involved in the ResourceAbilities Summer Tutoring Program, it is essential that you clearly identify the location at which the tutoring will take place. If a location changes after the child has been scheduled, we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate the change and provide our service to your child.

Summer Camps & Daycare
In the case your child will be tutored at a summer camp or daycare, it is your responsibility to identify the times the child will be available at the camp, as they often leave to go on field trips. First thing in the morning is the most requested time. However, this time fills up quickly, and may not be available for your child. Identifying alternate times is essential! Please also remember that someone over 18 must be at the tutoring location during the lesson.

French
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee your child will be matched with a bilingual Instructional Assistant due to availability and area restrictions. However, most French Immersion students remain in the program, focusing on English goals throughout the summer!

Priority
We will do our very best to accommodate all requests! Students are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, with consideration of mileage limits. We do our best to accommodate all requests, but with over 170 students we cannot meet everyone’s needs. Thank you again. We are looking forward to another great summer!
